I wanted to thank you again for doing such a fantastic job with everyone’s hair. All of the guests were very impressed with the look you gave me and it really stood up well in the heat and dancing, my hair looks great in a all of the pictures I’ve seen so far. It was lovely to meet you and I will always remember what a fantastic day it was.

Thank you for coming out to do my hair for our wedding. My hair looked amazing and you helped me look and feel beautiful on the most important day of my life.

About
I fell in love with Aveda close to 20 years ago. I remember being 19 and spending my last $20 on Purifying Gel Cleanser instead of groceries. I alway had my haircut at Aveda concept salons, even when I couldn’t afford it. I purchased a new product each visit. I have always believed in Aveda’s mission and commitment to developing life affirming, sustainable products.
After studying horticulture for a number of years, I began a science degree, as it seemed like the logical next step in my path to finding a career. It was after only one semester I decided to follow my passion for environmental accountability and the curative use of plants. I moved to Victoria to study Cosmetology at The Aveda Institute Victoria.
I never cared much for doing hair. But, felt inspired by previous hairstylists and their ability to transform people. I knew that a career within the Aveda network was something I would feel good about. And, by the time I finished school I was in love with hair. I spent a short time in Vancouver studying advanced hair cutting and colouring techniques before retuning to Victoria and finding a chair in a downtown concept salon.
Late in 2009 I decided to work on my own and travel to my clients. Because of my mobility and love for styling, I began working with planners and brides for weddings and events. I help women enhance their natural beauty with my artistry. I am surrounded by love, emotion, beauty and support. I work with people who are unbelievably talented. I love my job.
